Origami Craft Activities

18 April, 10am - 12 noon & 1pm - 3pm

Get creative with origami, the Japanese art of paper folding, inspired by our new exhibition about Samurai warriors. Drop in between 10am and 12 noon or 1pm and 3pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Cost from £4.

Easter in the Stuart Household

Come and help the Stuart Household celebrate Easter and get ready for their Feast. A historical re-enactment event for all the family. Family activities.

The Day of the Warrior

See Kendo demonstrations, a Japanese warrior, Samurai weapons and Taiko Japanese drumming.

Lost in Time Interactive Play

11 May & 18 May, 4pm & 6pm

Samurai: Warriors of Ancient Japan

Discover stunning examples of historical Samurai armour and weapons, from complete suits to beautiful swords and ornate helmets.

The hidden stories of some of our local communities told through their objects and words in a multi-sensory exhibition.
