Buckinghamshire's Adult Learning service is rated 'Good' by Ofsted

Buckinghamshire Adult Learning, the main provider of part-time courses for adults in the county, has been given a ‘Good’ rating in a recent Ofsted inspection.

The programme was praised for the positive impact it has had on the learners, as well as the hard work of the leaders, managers and tutors in tailoring opportunities to their needs and supporting lifelong education, personal development and wellbeing.

Inspectors said, “Learners develop positive relationships through their participation on adult learning programmes. Single parents and newcomers to the county value the social networks they create on family learning courses. As a result, many learners progress together as groups onto new courses.
