We are Undefeatable!
Did you know that people with health conditions are twice as likely to be inactive, and over a third do less than 30 minutes of activity per week?
We are Undefeatable is a new national campaign which aims to inspire and support people who have an existing health condition to become more active. Being more physically active can help people manage long-term conditions such as:
- Depression and anxiety
- Mobility limiting conditions
- Heart conditions
- Types 1 and 2 diabetes
Physical activity helps people reduce anxiety and fatigue; improve self-confidence, self-esteem and general mood; and prevent additional conditions developing
It’s easier than you think to start getting more active:
However you get more active, it’s all good. Find ways to move that work for you
Small amounts of activity add up – so it’s good to start small and build up
Finding something that you enjoy means you’re more likely to keep doing it
Living with a health condition means how you feel can change from day to day. Listen to your body and do what feels comfortable.
