New Buckinghamshire Council invites you to have your say

As the five existing councils across the county work together to create the new Buckinghamshire Council, we want to give you the chance to have a say on the matters that are important to you.

There will be a number of opportunities for you to get involved over the coming months, which will be shared on the consultations section of the Shadow Authority website. You can also keep up to date with the latest news about the new council (including details of consultations) on Twitter and Facebook.

Don’t miss this chance to get involved as we plan for becoming one council on 1 April 2020.

Strengthening local connections with communities
Community boards would give a voice to local people, giving you a chance to work with the council and other local people to make a difference for your community.

But what would the proposals mean for you?

Find out more and have your say before the community boards consultation closes on Monday 30 September.

Helping people on low incomes with their council tax

The four district councils and the county council in Buckinghamshire would like your views on proposed changes to the council tax reduction schemes that help people on low incomes, as we plan for becoming one council in April 2020.

Share your views on the proposal to have one scheme across Buckinghamshire.
